PARTICIPANT WAIVER & RELEASE AGREEMENT
Welcome to NEXUSVR Entertainment Center.
To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants, all players and guardians must read and agree to the following terms before participating in any VR, VR Rides, Laser Tag, Nerf Games, Bubble Soccer, Billard Soccer, Escape Room, Gaming, or Interactive Entertainment activities.

By participating in activities at NEXUSVR Entertainment Center, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. ASSUMPTION OF RISK

Virtual Reality, Laser Tag, Motion Simulators, Escape Rooms, and other interactive attractions involve physical movement and immersive sensory experiences. Participation may involve risks including but not limited to:

• • Loss of balance
  • Slips, trips, or falls
  • Motion sickness or dizziness
  • Collision with objects or participants
  • Physical exertion injuries
  • Anxiety, fear responses, or disorientation

Participants voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation.

2. MEDICAL CONDITIONS & SAFETY

Participants should NOT participate if they:

• • • Are under the influence of drugs or alcohol
    • Have epilepsy or photosensitive conditions
    • Have heart, neck, back, or serious medical conditions
    • Are pregnant
    • Are prone to seizures, severe motion sickness, or fainting

If unsure, participants should seek medical advice before participating.3. AGE REQUIREMENTS

• • • Recommended minimum age for VR experiences: 11 years
    • Premium Escape Experiences: 13 years minimum
    • Children under 8 years are strictly prohibited from participating in VR activities
    • Participants under 15 years must have a parent or legal guardian present onsite

Staff may refuse participation if an activity is deemed unsuitable for a participant.

4. EQUIPMENT RESPONSIBILITY

All participants agree to:

• • • Follow staff instructions at all times
    • Use equipment responsibly and safely
    • Immediately report damaged or malfunctioning equipment

Any deliberate, reckless, or negligent damage to equipment or facilities may result in repair or replacement costs being charged to the participant or guardian.

5. LIABILITY RELEASE

To the maximum extent permitted by law, participants release and hold harmless NEXUSVR Entertainment Center, its owners, employees, contractors, and affiliates from liability for:

• • • Personal injury
    • Property damage
    • Loss of belongings
    • Accidents occurring during participation
    • Any indirect or consequential loss

Participation is entirely at the participant’s own risk.

6. PERSONAL BELONGINGS

NEXUSVR Entertainment Center is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings.
Lockers or secure storage may be available upon request.

7. PHOTOGRAPHY & MEDIA

NEXUSVR may occasionally take photographs or videos for promotional and social media purposes. By entering the venue, participants consent to the use of images or footage unless they notify staff otherwise.

8. RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE

NEXUSVR Entertainment Center reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any person who:

• • • Behaves aggressively or unsafely
    • Damages equipment or property
    • Harasses staff or customers
    • Is under the influence of drugs or alcohol
    • Fails to follow venue rules or staff instructions

No refunds may be provided in these circumstances.

NEXUSVR CENTRE RULES

To keep the venue safe and enjoyable for everyone, all guests must follow these rules:

• 1. Participants under 15 years of age must have a parent or guardian present onsite.
  2. Recommended minimum age for VR is 8+ years.
     Premium Escape Experiences require participants to be 13+ years.
     Children under 8 are strictly prohibited from VR activities.
  3. Equipment usage instructions will be provided before play. Please ask staff if you need assistance at any time.
  4. Do not touch or interfere with participants wearing VR headsets or actively playing games.
  5. Only active players and swapping participants are permitted inside designated play areas.
  6. Food and drinks must be kept away from all gaming and electronic equipment.
  7. Report damaged or unsafe equipment immediately to staff.
  8. Running, rough play, fighting, bullying, intimidation, or unsafe behaviour will not be tolerated.
  9. Theft or intentional damage to equipment or property will result in removal from the venue and possible police involvement.
  10. Please respect other guests by using appropriate language and maintaining reasonable noise levels.
  11. Anyone appearing intoxicated or under the influence of drugs or alcohol will not be permitted to participate.
  12. Membership benefits are valid only for the registered membership holder.
  13. Follow all staff directions immediately for safety reasons.
  14. If you notice anything unsafe, please notify a staff member immediately.
  15. NEXUSVR Entertainment Center reserves the right to refuse service to any individual.
